There is a house of God in everyone’s house, everyone bows down to God with devotion and starts another work. It is very important to follow certain rules regarding the pooja room.

1. According to religious beliefs, the north-east direction of the house is a suitable place for God’s room.
2. It is believed that this will fill the house with positive energy.
3. It is believed that it is auspicious if you face east while worshiping.
4. It is believed that it is auspicious if the god’s photo, idols in the house of worship are at least 10 inches above the place where you sit.
5. Devotees can sit on a mat or a small seat or a floor mat while performing the puja. But, remember that you should not sit higher than a photo or idol of God and worship it.
6. Do not keep rotten or withered flowers in the god house or puja mandapam. Use only fresh flowers to worship God.
7. We also believe that it is inauspicious to build a pooja room or pooja mandapam near the steps of the house.
8. It is believed that building God’s house in the bedroom is not auspicious. There is a belief that once a God’s room is inevitably built in the bedroom, its door can be closed at night or the door screen can also be used.

ಎಲ್ಲರ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲೂ ದೇವರ ಮನೆ ಇದ್ದೆ ಇರುತ್ತದೆ, ಎಲ್ಲರೂ ದೇವರನ್ನು ಭಕ್ತಿಯಿಂದ ನಮಿಸಿ ಬೇರೆ ಕೆಲಸ ಪ್ರಾರಂಭಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಪೂಜಾ ಕೋಣೆಯ ವಿಷಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಲವು ನಿಯಮಗಳನ್ನು ಅನುಸರಿಸುವುದು ಬಹಳ ಮುಖ್ಯ.

1. ಧಾರ್ಮಿಕ ನಂಬಿಕೆಗಳ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಮನೆಯ ಈಶಾನ್ಯ ದಿಕ್ಕು ದೇವರ ಕೋಣೆಗೆ ಸೂಕ್ತವಾದ ಸ್ಥಳ.
2. ಇದರಿಂದ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಧನಾತ್ಮಕ ಶಕ್ತಿ ತುಂಬಿರುತ್ತದೆ ಎಂಬುದು ನಂಬಿಕೆ.
3. ಪೂಜೆ ಮಾಡುವಾಗ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮುಖ ಪೂರ್ವದ ಕಡೆಗೆ ಇದ್ದರೆ ಶುಭದಾಯಕ ಎಂಬ ನಂಬಿಕೆ ಇದೆ.
4. ಪೂಜೆಯ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ದೇವರ ಫೋಟೋ, ವಿಗ್ರಹಗಳು ನೀವು ಕುಳಿತುಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಸ್ಥಳದಿಂದ ಕನಿಷ್ಠ 10 ಇಂಚು ಎತ್ತರದಲ್ಲಿ ಇದ್ದರೆ ಮಂಗಳಕರ ಎಂಬ ನಂಬಿಕೆ ಇದೆ.
5. ಪೂಜೆ ಮಾಡುವಾಗ ಭಕ್ತರು ಚಾಪೆ ಅಥವಾ ಚಿಕ್ಕ ಆಸನ ಅಥವಾ ನೆಲಹಾಸನ್ನು ಹಾಸಿ ಕುಳಿತುಕೊಳ್ಳಬಹುದು. ಆದರೆ, ನೆನಪಿಡಿ ನೀವು ದೇವರ ಫೋಟೋ, ವಿಗ್ರಹಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಎತ್ತರದಲ್ಲಿ ಕುಳಿತು ಪೂಜೆ ಮಾಡಬಾರದು.
6. ದೇವರ ಮನೆ ಅಥವಾ ಪೂಜಾ ಮಂಟಪದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೊಳತ ಅಥವಾ ಬಾಡಿದ ಹೂವುಗಳನ್ನು ಇಡಬೇಡಿ. ತಾಜಾ ಹೂವುಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾತ್ರ ದೇವರ ಪೂಜೆಗೆ ಬಳಸಿ.
7. ಮನೆಯ ಮೆಟ್ಟಿಲುಗಳ ಬಳಿ ಪೂಜಾ ಕೋಣೆ ಅಥವಾ ಪೂಜಾ ಮಂಟಪವನ್ನು ನಿರ್ಮಿಸುವುದು ಅಶುಭಕರ ಎಂಬ ನಂಬಿಕೆಯೂ ನಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿದೆ.
8. ಮಲಗುವ ಕೋಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ದೇವರ ಮನೆಯನ್ನು ನಿರ್ಮಿಸುವುದು ಶುಭಕರವಲ್ಲ ಎಂಬ ನಂಬಿಕೆ ಇದೆ. ಒಂದೊಮ್ಮೆ ಮಲಗುವ ಕೋಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅನಿವಾರ್ಯವಾಗಿ ದೇವರ ಕೋಣೆ ನಿರ್ಮಿಸಿದ್ದರೂ ರಾತ್ರಿ ಅದರ ಬಾಗಿಲನ್ನು ಮುಚ್ಚಿ ಅಥವಾ ಬಾಗಿಲ ಪರದೆಯನ್ನೂ ಬಳಸಬಹುದು ಎಂಬ ನಂಬಿಕೆ ಇದೆ.
