As mentioned in the Puranas, which place is Sri Parvata?
Sri Parvata is a hill situated in Karnul district to the south of the river Krishna.
Presently there are several Shiva Lingams here including the
famous Malikarjuna which is one of the nine Jyotilingams.
It is also known as Srishailam.
ಪುರಾಣಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಉಲ್ಲೇಖಿಸಿರುವಂತೆ ಶ್ರೀ ಪರ್ವತ ಯಾವ ಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲಿದೆ ?
ಶ್ರೀ ಪರ್ವತವು ಕೃಷ್ಣಾ ನದಿಯ ದಕ್ಷಿಣಕ್ಕೆ ಕರ್ನೂಲ್ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಒಂದು ಬೆಟ್ಟವಾಗಿದೆ.
ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತ ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂಬತ್ತು ಜ್ಯೋತಿಲಿಂಗಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದಾದ ಪ್ರಸಿದ್ಧ ಮಲಿಕಾರ್ಜುನ ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಹಲವಾರು ಶಿವಲಿಂಗಗಳಿವೆ.
ಇದನ್ನು ಶ್ರೀಶೈಲಂ ಎಂದೂ ಕರೆಯುತ್ತಾರೆ.
