ನರ-ನಾರಾಯಣರು ವಿಷ್ಣುವಿನ ಅವತಾರವಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಅವರು ಧರ್ಮದ ಸಂರಕ್ಷಣೆಗಾಗಿ ತಪಸ್ಸು ಮಾಡಿದರು ಮತ್ತು ದೇವರು ಮತ್ತು ರಾಕ್ಷಸ ಇಬ್ಬರಿಂದಲೂ ಗೌರವಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟರು.

Who are Nara Narayana?

Nara-Narayana were incarnation of Vishnu who performed penance for the preservation of Dharma and was revered by both gods and demons.

ಅಪ್ಸರೆ ಊರ್ವಶಿ ಹುಟ್ಟಿದ್ದು ಹೇಗೆ?

ನರ ನಾರಾಯಣರು ವಿಷ್ಣುವಿನ ಅವತಾರ. ನರ ನಾರಾಯಣರು ಹಿಮಾಲಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಕಠಿಣ ತಪಸ್ಸನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು, ಇದು ಇಂದ್ರನ ಭಯವನ್ನು ಉತ್ತೇಜಿಸಿತು, ಇಂದ್ರ ಅವರ ತಪಸ್ಸನ್ನು ಭಂಗಗೊಳಿಸಲು ಹಲವಾರು ಸುಂದರ ಯುವತಿಯರನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದನು. ಆದರೆ ನಾರಾಯಣನು ತನ್ನ ತೊಡೆಯ ಮೇಲಿನ ಹೂವಿನಿಂದ ಅವರನ್ನು ಮೀರಿಸುವ ಊರ್ವಶಿ ಎಂಬ ಅಪ್ಸರೆಯನ್ನು ಹುಟ್ಟಿಸುವ ಮೂಲಕ ಅವರೆಲ್ಲರನ್ನೂ ನಾಚಿಕೆಗೆ ಗುರಿಪಡಿಸಿದನು.

How Does Nymph Urvashi Born?

Nara Narayan are an avatar of Lord Vishnu. Nara Narayan have been practising austere penance on the Himalayas, which excited the fear of Indra who sent down several damsels to disturb their austerities. But Nara Narayana put all of them to shame by creating a nymph Urvasi from  a flower on his thigh who excelled them in beauty.
