ಗಣೇಶ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಕೆಂಪು ಹೂವುಗಳನ್ನು ಏಕೆ ಅರ್ಪಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ?

ಗಣೇಶ ದೇವರ ಬಣ್ಣ ಕೆಂಪು ಎಂದು ಶಿಲ್ಪಾ ಶಾಸ್ತ್ರ ಹೇಳುತ್ತದೆ. 

ಮಾನವ ದೇಹದಲ್ಲಿ ಏಳು ಶಕ್ತಿ ಕೇಂದ್ರಗಳಿವೆ ಮತ್ತು ಪ್ರತಿ ಚಕ್ರವು ನಿರ್ದಿಷ್ಟ ಬಣ್ಣವನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿರುತ್ತದೆ. ಮೊದಲ ಶಕ್ತಿ ಕೇಂದ್ರವು ಮೂಲಾಧಾರ ಅಥವಾ ಮೂಲ ಚಕ್ರ, ಬೆನ್ನುಮೂಳೆಯ ತಳದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಶಕ್ತಿ ಕೇಂದ್ರವಾಗಿದೆ ಮತ್ತು ಇದರ ಬಣ್ಣ ಕೆಂಪು.

Why are red flowers offered to Ganesha?

Shilpa Shastra says that Ganesha’s color is red.

There are seven energy centers in the human body and each chakra as a specific color. The first energy center is the muladhara chakra, the energy center at the base of the spine and is red in color.

As Ganapati is the presiding deity of this center, red color is consonant with Ganapati. So red flowers that match the vibrations of Ganesha are offered to God Ganesha.

ಗಣೇಶನಿಗೆ ಒಲವು ತೋರುವ ಮತ್ತೊಂದು ಅರ್ಪಣೆ ಎಂದರೆ ದೃಬ್ ಅಥವಾ ದುರ್ವಾ ಅಥವಾ ಗರಿಕೆ ಎಂದು ಕರೆಯಲ್ಪಡುವ ಕೋಮಲ ಹುಲ್ಲು.

ಇವುಗಳನ್ನು ಬೆಸ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಅಂದರೆ ಒಂದು, ಮೂರು, ಐದು ಅಥವಾ ಏಳು ಹುಲ್ಲಿನ ಹಾರದ ರೂಪದಲ್ಲಿ ನೀಡಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ.

ಗಣಪತಿ ತತ್ವವನ್ನು ಆಕರ್ಷಿಸುವ ಶಕ್ತಿಯಿದೆ ಎಂಬ ನಂಬಿಕೆಯಿಂದ ಈ ಹುಲ್ಲುಗಳನ್ನು ಗಣೇಶನಿಗೆ ಅರ್ಪಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ.

ದೇವರು ಇವುಗಳನ್ನು ಇಷ್ಟಪಟ್ಟು ಸ್ವೀಕರಿಸಿ ಭಕ್ತರನ್ನು ತಕ್ಷಣವೇ ಆಶೀರ್ವದಿಸುವ ನಂಬಿಕೆಯಿದೆ.

Why is grass offered to Ganapati?

Another offering favored by Ganesha is the tender grass known as drub or durva or garike.

These are given in odd numbers i.e. one, three, five or seven in the form of a garland of grass.

These grasses are offered to Lord Ganesha in the belief that they have the power to attract the Ganesha tattva.

It is believed that God will accept these and bless the devotees immediately
