ಅಕ್ಷರಶಃ, ಗಣೇಶ ಎಂದರೆ ಗಣಗಳ ಅಥವಾ ಐಹಿಕ ದೇವತೆಗಳ ರಾಜ.

ಗಣೇಶ ದೇವರನ್ನು ವಿಘ್ನೇಶ್ವರ ಅಥವಾ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಅಡೆತಡೆಗಳನ್ನು ನಿವಾರಿಸುವವನು ಎಂದೂ ಕರೆಯುತ್ತಾರೆ.

ಗಣೇಶ ದೇವರನ್ನು ಭೂಮಿಯ ಅಧಿಪತಿ ಎಂದು ಪರಿಗಣಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ.

ಗಣೇಶ ದೇವರ  ಆಶೀರ್ವಾದವಿಲ್ಲದೆ ಭೂಮಿಯ ಮೇಲಿನ ಯಾವುದೇ

ಮಾನವ ಪ್ರಯತ್ನಗಳು ಯಶಸ್ವಿಯಾಗುವುದಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ಬಲವಾಗಿ ನಂಬಲಾಗಿದೆ.

ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ, ಯಾವುದೇ ಹೊಸ ಉದ್ಯಮವನ್ನು ಪ್ರಾರಂಭಿಸುವ ಮೊದಲು ಗಣೇಶ ದೇವರನ್ನು ಪ್ರಸನ್ನಗೊಳಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ .

ಭೂಮಿಯ ಅಧಿಪತಿಯಾಗಿ, ಗಣೇಶನು ಹತ್ತು ದಿಕ್ಕುಗಳನ್ನು ಆಳುತ್ತಾನೆ. ಅವನ ಒಪ್ಪಿಗೆಯಿಲ್ಲದೆ ಯಾವುದೇ ದೈವಿಕ ಶಕ್ತಿಯು ಭೂಮಿಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಇಳಿಯುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ಮಾನವರನ್ನು ಆಶೀರ್ವದಿಸಲು ದೈವಿಕ ಶಕ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಅನುಮತಿಸಲು ಭಗವಾನ್ ಗಣೇಶನನ್ನು ಮೊದಲು ಆಹ್ವಾನಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ.

Why Is Lord Ganesha Worshipped First?

Literally, Ganesha means the king of ganas or earthly deities.

He is also known as Vigneshwara or the remover of all obstacles.

Ganesha is considered as the lord of the earth.

It is strongly believed that without the blessings of Ganesha

no human endeavours on earth can succeed.

Therefore, Lord Ganesha is propitiated before starting any new venture.

As the lord of the earth, Ganesha rules the ten directions. No divine power descends on earth without His consent. Therefore Lord Ganesha is invoked first to allow divine power to bless human beings.
