ಯಜಮಾನರೇ ಋತ್ವಿಕ್ಕುಗಳಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಅನೇಕರು ಸೇರಿ ನಡೆಸುವಂತಹ ಒಂದು ವಿಧವಾದ ಯಜ್ಞವನ್ನು ದೀರ್ಘಸತ್ರ ಎನ್ನುತ್ತಾರೆ.
