What are the Reasons for placing coconut on the urn (Kalasha)?

So, when there is a puja or a religious event, a coconut is brought and placed on the kalash and the puja is performed.

ಕಲಶವನ್ನು ಪೂಜಿಸಿದರೆ ದೇವತೆಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ನವಗ್ರಹಗಳನ್ನು ಪೂಜೆಗೆ ಆಹ್ವಾನಿಸಿದಂತೆ ಎಂದು ನಂಬಲಾಗಿದೆ.
ಕಲಶವು ನಮ್ಮ ಪೂಜೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ದೇವರ ರೂಪವಾಗಿದೆ.
ಗುರು, ಮನೆಯ ಸಮೃದ್ಧಿಗೆ ಸಂಬಂಧಿಸಿದ ಗ್ರಹ, ತೆಂಗಿನಕಾಯಿ ಗುರುವಿಗೆ ಸಂಬಂಧಿಸಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಹಾಗಾಗಿ ಗುರುವಿನ ಕೃಪೆಗೆ ಪಾತ್ರರಾಗಲು ಕಲಶದ ಮೇಲೆ ತೆಂಗಿನಕಾಯಿ ಇಟ್ಟು ಪೂಜಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ.
ಬ್ರಹ್ಮ, ವಿಷ್ಣು ಮತ್ತು ಮಹೇಶ್ವರರನ್ನು ತ್ರಿಮೂರ್ತಿಗಳು ಎಂದು ಕರೆಯಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ, ತೆಂಗಿನಕಾಯಿಯ ಮೂರು ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳು ತ್ರಿಮೂರ್ತಿಗಳ ಸಂಕೇತವೆಂದು ಹೇಳಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ತೆಂಗಿನಕಾಯಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ತ್ರಿಮೂರ್ತಿಗಳು ನೆಲೆಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಎಂದು ನಂಬಲಾಗಿದೆ.
ಹಾಗಾಗಿ ಪೂಜೆ, ಧಾರ್ಮಿಕ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಗಳಿದ್ದಾಗ ತೆಂಗಿನಕಾಯಿ ತಂದು ಕಲಶದ ಮೇಲೆ ಇಟ್ಟು ಪೂಜೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ.
