Ashta Nidhis mentioned in Garuda Purana

These nidhis are treasures belong to Kubera.

In the Tantrika system they are described as attendants of Laksmi.

These are the Ashta Nidhis

1. Padma (Lotus),
2. Mahapadma,
3. Makara (Crocodile),
4. Kacchapa (Tortoise),
5. Mukunda,
6. Nanda,
7. Nila and
8. Shankha

These Nidhis contribute to the development of sattva gunas.
